Woah! I'm really digging the template/theme of this site. It's simple,
yet effective. A lot of times it's difficult to get that "perfect balance" between user friendliness and visual appearance. I must say you've done a fantastic job with this.
Additionally, the blog loads extremely fast for me on Internet explorer.

With bank-provided services, I think it comes down to the duress problem. Banks have staff trained to notice unusual behaviour; ATMs usually have discrete cameras watching the queue (but not the keypad); people consider their homes (where their computers usually are, when they connect to do banking) to be safe places. 'Phones can be used anywhere, and for banking apps, that's both a benefit and a problem (although I do a lot of my banking by 'phone, and that seems to be OK by many folks' risk appetites; maybe it's a matter of having somewhere you can get your wallet out, put it down, get the relevant card out, put it down and read the digits off without having the risk of someone with light fingers and fast feet grab them and dash - I just have the card numbers memorised, so 'phone banking on the hoof isn't a problem for me). My guess is that if I was on the 'phone and authenticated to my bank, and someone snatched the 'phone from my hand and ran off with it, the member of staff on the other end would have the presence of mind to not only ignore any entreaties for transactions by the thief, but also to notify the police - and such events are far more difficult to detect in the context of an app.

Maybe I should try having a chat with my bank about it; I get on reasonably well with their security team. If I do - and get useful answers - I'll post them here.
