If you’re headed to RSA 2012 next week, you’ll have several chances to hear from security pioneer Bruce Schneier during the show. In addition to his book signing, he will be sharing his thoughts on New Threats to the Internet Infrastructure from 2:40 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28. During his presentation, Bruce will talk about how today’s corporate and government focus on molding the Internet to meet business needs or to facilitate social control is the real threat to the Internet.
He’ll also be debating Marcus Ranum, CSO of Tenable Network Security, as part of the new Security Debates sessions in the Crypto Commons. Moderated by Pete Lindstrom, principal of Spire Security, they’ll debate “Software Liability: Our Saving Grace or Kiss of Death?,” at noon on Wednesday, Feb. 29.
