BT security chief, Bruce Schneier, has been listed third in a list, called ‘Most powerful voices in security’, by SOA World Magazine. Schneier ranked third after US Representative for California Darrell Issa and William Lynn III, US Deputy Secretary of Defence.
Jim Kaskade, who writes for the magazine, said Schneier is popular because he’s “willing to speak his mind on topics where people want transparent and insightful perspective.”
One of the topics Schneier is working on, is the “why” of security. At the RSA Conference 2011, Bruce talked about it and looked at what he calls societal security. [Read more...]
