New contracts show public sector trusts BT

A recent report by industry analyst firm Current Analysis shows that BT is one of the leading providers of ICT services to the public sector. Recent deals with the Ministry of Defence and Surrey County Council, as well as several PSN accreditations, reinforce BT’s position as a  market leader. We aim to strengthen this position through ongoing development over the coming years.

Gary Barton, business network and IT analyst at Current Analysis said; “”BT has been the most successful of the UK’s traditional telecoms providers in winning public sector IT services deals. Despite increased competition, BT has adapted well to the UK’s new Public Services Network (PSN) approved supplier market, and has recorded some of the largest and most noteworthy PSN wins during mid-2011 to the end of 2012.” [Read more...]
