BT once again won the ‘Best International Wholesale Carrier’ award at Telecom Asia’s 19th annual awards ceremony in Kuala Lumpur.
Rajiv Verma, head – emerging markets, BT Global Services, received the award at the ceremony.
This is the 6th year in a row that BT has won awards at the Telecom Asia Awards ceremony.
When asked why he thought we won the award, Kevin Taylor, president of AMEA, BT Global Services said; “Our customer-driven philosophy sets us apart and is reflected in all our portfolio launches, network enhancements, industry-specific solutions and investments in the region which are tailored towards providing our customers the best support possible.
A key reason behind our award win is that we provide a wide range of wholesale products and managed services on an international scale, which enable our carrier customers to advance their global expansion plans. For example, our network provides the widest geographic reach and deep in-country domestic coverage in the region. Also, we have a best in class Global IP Exchange (GIPX), an integral part of the BT One-Stop Hub which delivers the commercial, technical and underlying transport infrastructure upon which customers anywhere in the world can rely on for their international voice, data roaming and signalling requirements.”
